Come out and celebrate the start of the season with us!
After a short ceremony with some special guest, enjoy food, games, and music. 
Also the first TBall games of the season will be played on fieds, 1, 3, & 4.

FAQs

When will registration close for current season?
Registration for the 2026 season closed on March 15, 2025.
When will practices and games begin?
Practice will begin on Monday March 30, 2026 and games will begin on or around May 1, 2026.
How old does my child have to be to participate in baseball or softball?
Any child that would like to play baseball or softball with RYBSA must reach division age by May 1st of the current year. If a child turns 10 by May 1st they will be assigned to a 10U team.
Where will practices and games be held?
All practices for April will be held at Little Blue Trace Park. Games start in May and coaches may choose to move practices to a different loaction after games have started depending on field availability.

As of March 2026 all games for TBall, 8U, 10U, and 12U baseball will be held at Little Blue Trace Field located at 13498 E. 87th St., Kansas City, Missouri 64139. We will have to partner with another league for Softball, and 14U baseball, these games will be played at Little Blue Trace and may be played at other locations within the Kansas City Metro area. 
May I be on the field or dugout with my child during practices and/or games?
No. Due to laws and safety, the only persons allowed in dugouts or on fields with the players are our volunteers who have passed a background check. If you would like to volunteer please email us at raytownybsa@gmail.com.

Kansas City Royals Amatuer Development System

The program's main role is to improve and enhance participation in
local youth baseball and softball leagues.

Since 2019, the Kansas City Royals have identified that they have a role in the future of
baseball and softball.With that in mind, at the beginning of 2021 the
Royals Amateur Development System was created toserve as that resource
to the community.

What the program provides:
★ Access to a youth, high school, or college coaches association
★ Coaching resources to your coaching skills
★ Access to Royals coaching seminars 
★ Royals Baseball Operations developed practice plans
★ Video drills from minor/major league player/staff members
★ Updated information from Crown Leagues
★ Umpire training support for partner leagues
★ Sports Medicine Resources
★ Parental Guides to support your athlete
★ Increasing resources and collaborations with organizations in the
Kansas/Missouri area creates a pathway to success for the player.
